We just returned from our Spring Mexico Mission as volunteer staff for Amor Ministries during the busy spring break housebuilding season. We got to work with and encourage a group with members from Calgary, Canada and Folsom, California who built homes for two families – one family was a single mom with three children and the other was a mom, dad, and two children, who turned their home into a soup kitchen to feed needy children and families in the neighborhood.
In addition we also delivered a full truckload of donations (thank you to everyone for the clothes, toys, basketball supplies, diapers, formula, and other goodies) to Casa Hogar Sion Orphanage. Special thanks to St. Cecilia’s CYO Basketball and to Cara K. and the Starbucks Crew in Orange County for your collections.
