Spring has sprung in the COMFY (Community for Youth) Garden! We’ve turned and amended the soil, rotated the compost, fed the worms, planted seeds, and given them a drink of water. Here are some photos of Hannah D. and I putting stakes in the beds to label all our seedlings: spaghetti squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, bok choy, carrots, lots of lettuce, and a scattering of wild flowers just for fun. Next up, beans, corn, onions, bell peppers, sunflowers, zinnias, and gladiolus. Oh, the lavendar is looking and smelling fabulous by the way! Thank you to all our generous donors for the seeds, funds, and garden supplies. Love and Hugs to all, Leona
