Spring House Building

We (Jeff and Leona) have just returned from our spring house building mission to Tijuana, Mexico, where we worked with Amor as volunteer staff and were part of a group of people helping build homes for families.

We wish that this kind of service work would not be needed, but the reality is that there are many families, not only in Mexico, but also all over the world, living in substandard conditions – and who cannot on their own afford to change their living circumstances.

Perhaps if the world were organized differently there wouldn’t be a need to go out on mission trips to help people in this way, but until that time we are committed to helping families stay together by building safe, secure homes.
We are grateful to be able to do this work. Thank you to our family, friends, and supporters for encouraging us to live a life of service.
